2016 | Looking Back

2016, you were so good to us!

We probably had one of our lighter years with quantity of weddings due to some of the many other adventures happening in our life, but regardless of the numbers, it was one of our favorite years with the work.

We thought we'd share some of our favorite work, some of the personal photos, and reflect back on the past year.  So first, let's catch up on us.

Luke turned 2.  Ellie turned 4.  Rosie turned 6.  Steve and Bernadette turned older.

We sold our house in the middle of a blizzard.

We moved into our little dream house on the main street of our town, built in 1890, across the street from our church.  We can't predict the future, but we may just stay here until we die.

Steve quit his job managing operations for a tech startup after five years of exhaustion.  He started work at another tech company and manages development teams for building large websites.  So far he likes it and has been home a lot more.

Ellie broke her first bone.

Bernadette had pink and purple hair.

Steve started playing bass for two different bands.

Bernadette is homeschooling Rosie in 1st grade and Ellie in preschool.

We photographed an amazing wedding in Nashville, got to hang out with our awesome photog friends, Brad & Jen, and we also had our family photographed by our long-time inspiration hero, The Image Is Found.

We started an entirely new aspect to our business with Family Portraits, and are so excited to expand this further in 2017.

We refreshed and relaunched our website.

We are on track to have our biggest photo season of all time in 2017, and we can't wait to share it all.

So here's a look back at us, and some of the amazing couples and families that let us photograph them.

We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

love, Steve & Bernadette
