Virginia and Ron flew from their home in Portland, Oregon to the rolling hills of Bluemont, Virginia to get married on a surprisingly cool summer's day this past August. However, they didn't show up alone. They brought their dog, Stewie, who took full part in the festivities. They brought their family from both near and far. They brought themes of travel to celebrate the 36 countries they've travelled to. They brought the hand-picked floral arrangements from Virginia's sister. They brought their deliberate care of all the guests with Krispy Kreme and Stumptown Coffee as well as a written guide at every table for guests to read up on who they were sitting with at dinner. They brought the customs of their culture with a Vietmanese Tea Ceremony. They brought an ice cream sandwich food truck from Washington DC. They brought the sun to peak through the clouds for the first time all day right at sunset.
However, beyond all of the details was a couple that was a blast to get to know. When we were around Virginia and Ron the world felt lighter because we ended up laughing and smiling so much. We noticed that it wasn't just us that felt this way as we witnessed and documented their amazing wedding day with their family and closest friends. This was something they were sharing with the whole world around them.
