Meet Kalsoom and Jay: one of our radtastic couples getting married this Fall. They are an explosion of fun, a match of intricate complimentary personalities, and a love of life and one another. Their wedding is going to be incredible, and we’ve been having an absolute blast getting to know them from overseas Skype calls to drinking wine in our living room. To celebrate their engagement we wandered Kalsoom’s neighborhood in Northwest DC. Starting with some expresso at Busboys and Poets we proceeded to roam about 25 city blocks, finding hidden alleyways, quiet colorful row house neighborhoods, graffiti covered walls, parks, busy intersections, old marble buildings, and theaters. However, the story here is not in the diverse urban settings. The story here is in Kalsoom and Jay’s relationship. It’s in their expressions, in their eyes, in their laughter. It’s them. We love this story and are so happy to share it, and to share more in just a few months!
